Our Story
About Community Cleaners
Community Cleaners was founded in October 2021 by concerned residents who saw their suburbs being overtaken by litter, neglect, and invasive vegetation. What began as a few people cleaning up a local park grew into a registered NPO by October 2022. We now operate across Fairland, Northcliff, Berario, and Valeriedene, working hand-in-hand with local volunteers to make our suburbs cleaner, safer, and more connected.
Through this shared effort, we’re not only improving the environment but also rebuilding a sense of pride, connection, and responsibility across our neighbourhoods.

A network of self-empowered communities that take ownership of their public spaces—starting with Fairland, Northcliff, Berario, and Valeriedene, and expanding outward.
Our Mission
To encourage and support residents in cleaning and maintaining the spaces they use every day, through organized clean-ups, education, and partnership with local stakeholders.
